As soon as the EURO 2016 playoffs were concluded, UEFA determined the EURO 2016 pots for the tournament draw that will be held in Paris on December 12.
After Sweden and Ukraine joined Hungary and the Republic of Ireland, the teams already qualified for the finals from the playoffs, UEFA confirmed the EURO 2016 pots for the draw.
Hosts France will be placed in Group A automatically, so they wont be drawn and Pot 1 only have five teams. The other 23 teams were referred to four EURO 2016 pots based on their UEFA coefficients. They will be drawn into six groups (A-F), and each pot will delegate one team to a group.

Ukraine, who advanced to the finals after defeating Slovenia 3–1 on aggregate in the playoffs, became the highest seeded playoff-winners, being placed into Pot 2 and therefore will avoid Russia in the group stage.
As experts of gambling facts might know, from the group stages of the final tournament, the top two from each quartets would qualify, joined by the four best third-placed teams. Group phase will be held from 10-22 June 2016.
