Djokovic v Murray Final at the Aussie Open

Jan 29, 2016
Djokovic v Murray final at Australian Open

Andy Murray reached his fifth Australian Open final

The Scot tennis player has won his  semi-final, so the fourth Djokovic v Murray final at the Australian Open is set up.

Andy Murray defeated Canadian Milos Raonic 4-6, 7-5, 6-7, 6-4, 6-2, coming back from a handicap twice in the second semi of the 2016 Australian Open. This leaves us with another Djokovic v Murray final, the fourth after 2011, 2013 and 2015. So the third time in the last four Melbourne tournaments a Djokovic v Murray final will enclose the event.

As experts of gambling facts might know, this will be the sixth Djokovic v Murray final at Grand Slam tournaments overall with the Briton winning only one of them, the 2013 Wimbledon showdown. So, their head to head record in Grand Slam finals is 4–1 to Djokovic at the moment. Don’t expect that the picture would change much in 2016.

TheGuardian | Andy Murray v Milos Raonic: Australian Open 2016 semi-final

Murray was on fire towards the end of this semi-final. He played unstoppable tennis in the last two sets, especially in the very last. However, even this kind of effort wouldn’t be enough against the world’s No. 1 on Sunday. According to odds posted for the Djokovic v Murray final, the Serbian, who thrashed Roger Federer in the semis, is a very strong favorite. To last until five sets would be an impressive performance from the Briton.

Latest gambling news report that Djokovic’s win is priced at 1.18 (2/11) by Bwin Sports. You won’t get online betting odds much higher than that, given the Serbian won’t injure himself while picking up a dropped coin in front of a betting shop in Melbourne. (What an Australian open betting scandal would that be!) Murray goes for internet betting odds of 5.00 (4/1) at Bwin Sportsthis excellent provider of tennis betting odds. This is also a reasonable price, right among the best Djokovic v Murray odds you will find at online sportsbooks.

What Are the Klopp Liverpool Odds after Sacking Rodgers?

Oct 05, 2015
Klopp Liverpool odds

Klopp showed respect to Liverpool’s traditions as an opponent too

According to the Klopp Liverpool odds, it seems that the former Borussia Dortmund coach will be the Reds’ next manager.

Before the start of the 2015-16 season, Brendan Rodgers was the favourite to lose his job first amongst Premier League club managers according to experts of gambling facts. He came up second, since Dick Advocaat (ex-Sunderland) had crossed the line a few hours earlier on Sunday. However, it wasn’t a surprise at all that the Liverpool board relieved the Northern Irishman from his duties.

Apart from the exciting 3–2 against 18th placed Aston Villa and that 45 minutes at Arsenal, Liverpool were uninspiring and unimaginative in the whole season. With this team at his disposal, Rodgers should have done better. However, Liverpool’s luck is that other teams also have been struggling so far, thus fourth place is only three points away from the Anfield Road outfit. But it will be the new manager’s job to reach that.

EmpireoftheKop.com: Bosnian newspaper claims Jurgen Klopp & Zeljko Buvac have agreed to take charge of Liverpool

According to the report that emerged on Sunday at a Bosnian site that since became unavailable, Fenway Sports Group, the company that owns Liverpool FC pretty much agreed Jurgen Klopp, BVB’s former coach and his assistant at Signal Iduna Park, Zeljko Buvac on a three-year contract to take over the club.

Since Klopp’s assistant is from Bosnia-Herzegovina, sports scores news all over the world gave credit to the rumour. And it was also forcefully backed by the official announcement about Rodgers being sacked by Liverpool soon after. With all this happening, it was understandable that the Klopp Liverpool odds suggested that the German will be the Reds’ next manager.

This was also rumoured in the spring. However, Rodgers somehow managed to keep his position then. However, now Klopp might be FSG’s number one target easily. They did not hide their intentions about approaching Brendan Rodgers in 2012, and now everyone considers Klopp as their first target, ahead of Carlo Ancelotti and Frank de Boer.

The Guardian: Jürgen Klopp in frame for Liverpool job after Brendan Rodgers is sacked

The decision to get rid of Brendan Rodgers after eight league matches into the season was criticised by many, most notably by former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher. However, the former England defender also agreed that the previous BVB coach could be the right person for the job, further boosting the Klopp Liverpool odds.

According to gambling news, the odds are continuously being shortened at online betting operators, but you can still wager on Klopp becoming the next Liverpool manager with odds of 1.20 (1/5) at BetVictor Sportsbook. They offer top underdog Carlo Ancelotti at 3.75 (11/4), while Frank de Boer’s appointment is priced at 13.00 (12/1).

According to the statement that was issued on Liverpoolfc.com on Sunday evening, the search for the new manager is underway. This suggests that maybe an agreement could be reached soon. It would be wise to place your wagers as soon as possible, since many operators might suspend betting on these market soon, as the Klopp Liverpool odds keep on shortening…

Donald Trump Knows Everything

Sep 22, 2015
Trump knows everything president 2016

Hail to the Chief? Are you sure? (Photo: Getty Images)

The republican candidate used his Twitter account to suggest his followers that Trump knows everything.

Seriously. The guy, who started as a real estate developer, then got into television, writing books and now running for the presidency, answered a wide list of questions during his Twitter session. He discussed not only political matters, but also answered seemingly not that serious questions. And he did that with amazing seriousness, like when tackling the Cowboys’ chances without the injured Tony Romo.

The future President of the United States has to know everything after all. Or if not everything, at least football. But Trump knows everything, he is aware of the Dallas Cowboys’ problems and the strength of their defence.

Of course, he did not forget to drop that how good he is with Romo and more importantly, Tom Brady. Since the latter superstar is the hero of New England, an area full of blue states, he had to mention that he and Mr. Brady are best buddies, and he also supported the Patriots quarterback during the ridiculous deflategate scandal. Wow, Trump knows everything!

Alright, casino winners know that one area he is not an expert of is probably gambling. Trump brought four businesses to bankruptcy in the ’90s and 2000s: Trump’s Taj Mahal, the Trump Plaza Hotel, the Trump Hotels and the Casino Resorts.

Bet365 Sportsbook has excellent online betting odds for Trump being elected as the next President of the United States. He is available at 8.50 (15/2), being third favourite behind top dog Hillary Clinton, who goes for 2.25 (5/4) and Jeb Bush, whose success is given at 5.00 (4/1) by the top gambling destination.

Experts of gambling facts might be aware of that at some funny online gambling sites you can also wager on celebrities like Eva Longoria, Kanye West or even Kim Kardashian winning the presidential election. That wouldn’t be the first time that show business got into politics. Just think of Ronald Reagan’s career as an actor… or rather don’t.

But Trump knows better how to impersonate a dumb character like George W. Bush did with great success. Trump knows everything, or almost everything, so he could totally do that. The question is that how many of the Americans will take him seriously.

Scotland v Germany 2-3 Ends Scots’ Campaign?

Sep 08, 2015
Scotland v Germany 2-3 Mario Gotze

Scotland v Germany 2-3: Puts the jocks’ EURO dreams in miracle zone (P: Reuters)

Scotland v Germany 2-3 together with the loss in Georgia hurt the Scots’ chances to qualify for EURO 2016 badly.

After the upheaval in EURO 2016 qualifying Group D, Republic of Ireland are in an excellent position to capture the third spot. They also have a chance to reach second place, ensuring outright qualification. This also means that the Scots went the opposite way. After Scotland v Germany 2-3 appeared in sports scores, and the failure in Georgia last week, they are sitting fourth, four points behind the Irish.

Watching the turnaround in Group D, it is interesting to see the odds for qualification. Republic of Ireland qualifying goes for online betting odds of 2.20 (6/5) at Bet365 Sportsbook. This is actually good business, since the Irish still have a shot at second place finish. They are also in contention for the sole spot of the best third-placed team, and their fighting spirit should help them in a possible playoff fixture as well.

ESPNFC: Germany break Scotland’s hearts in Euro 2016 qualifying

Germany ended their Euro 2016 qualifying struggles by beating the hosts at Hampden Park. The Scotland v Germany 2-3 meant that Joachim Low’s team is only three points away from officially being qualified for the tournament in France next summer.

For long periods of the match, they played like the side that won the World Cup last summer. They kept letting back Scotland to the game however. The hosts were able to equalize twice against the dominant Germans. They also had a shot at leveling again at the very end of the contest.

Joachim Low has to sort out these suicidal tendencies, if he wants to make Germany ruthless champions once again. After the Scotland v Germany 2-3, they are favourites for the European Championship title next summer however, gambling news report. Bet365 Sportsbook has a reasonable offer for them to be crowned. They are available with online betting odds of 4.00 (3/1).

With Scotland suffering two defeats in a row – they were beaten in Georgia last week -, Republic of Ireland were able to overtake them. The Boys in Green won against Gibraltar and Georgia, and now they have a shot at second place.

This will be an interesting group to watch in the last two rounds. The Irish will entertain Germany, while Poland will visit Scotland on the penultimate matchday in Group D. Then in the closing round, Poland and the Republic might decide outright qualification between each other.

BBC: Euro 2016 qualifying: Scotland are still in this – Gordon Strachan

Scottish national team coach Gordon Strachan said after Scotland v Germany 2-3, that his side still have a chance to qualify for the EURO 2016. Some chance. Scotland to qualify for the tournament is available with internet betting odds of 13.00 (12/1) at Bet365 Sportsbook.

That would be good money for sure. However you can bet on their failure at 1.04 (1/25). You don’t have to be an expert of gambling facts to sort out what that means. However, Strachan thinks that tracking third-placed Republic of Ireland by four points doesn’t mean that his team is out of the competition yet.

He said, “We are still in this. We’ve had two chances over the last couple of days to pick up points and we’ve not done that, so we can’t look about and blame anybody else for anything. But trust me, we’re still in this.”

Scotland v Germany 2-3 Gordon Strachan bench

He continued, “If we play like that, the same determination with a wee bit luck – when you play the world champions you need a wee bit of luck. You don’t need deflections coming off someone’s foot and creeping in the back of the net.” Strachan was talking about Germany’s luck by Thomas Muller’s shot. However, his side was also favoured by fortune, when the ball came off from Manuel Neuer and bounced back into his net from the chest of Mats Hummels, to make it 1–1.

Strachan added, “They’re a bit disappointed in there but I can feel within that disappointment that they gave it a good shot. We were just a fraction away from it being the perfect performance. We’re three or four passes from being a right good side.”

Then he concluded his press conference after the Scotland v Germany 2-3, “Every one of those guys has got something inside them that drives them on. To go behind against the world champions, go behind again and you keep coming back, keep plugging away – they can be proud of their performances. I can’t wait to get them back together. I’m really proud of them and they should be proud of themselves”.
