Taj Mahal Casino to Continue Paying Pensions to Union Members

Oct 07, 2014
Trump Taj Mahal casino's managers were denied court approval to end pension payments

Trump Taj Mahal casino’s managers were denied court approval to end pension payments

The management of Trump Taj Mahal sought approval to end payments to the casino union pension fund.

US Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross in Wilmington, Delaware, said he didn’t have the authority to allow the gambling company to reject part of its collective bargain agreement, but added that he would consider a request to reject the agreement as a whole. The judge is expected to make a decision on a hearing scheduled for October 14.

Obtaining approval to end pension payments was a key requirement of businessman Carl Icahn, offered to spend $100 million to rescue the now-bankrupt casino. However, the deal comes with considerable strings attached, as the businessman expects tax breaks, $25 million in funds from a state agency, as well as givebacks from the workers’ union. Experts believe it is unlikely that his proposal will be accepted, considering New Jersey’s current taxation policy and gambling laws.

Unless a buyer is found, the Trump Taj Mahal Casino and Resort will become the fifth casino to close this year in Atlantic City. Trump Entertainment has threatened to shut it down at the middle of November.

Bloomberg: Trump Casinos Loss on Pension Threatens Bankruptcy Plan

According to the latest gambling news, the owner of Atlantic City’s Taj Mahal Casino was denied court approval to stop contributing to the union pension plan. The request was a key point in the company’s restructuring strategy, as Trump Entertainment is struggling to recover from bankruptcy.

Judge Kevin Gross ruled that eliminating just the pension from the collective-bargaining agreement is not an option. The measure would violate bankruptcy code, which states that a contract has to be considered as a whole.

“The court does not have authority to reject a portion of a CBA,” Gross ruled. However, Trump Entertainment’s efforts to scrap the entire union deal – which includes pensions, too – will be reconsidered at another hearing, on October 14.

The company is trying to figure out how to solve its financial difficulties and save the Taj Mahal. Court filings have revealed that the union contract costs about $15 million a year in health, welfare and other benefits, and an additional $5 million in pension payments. But if the casino doesn’t find a buyer or a way to cut costs, closing will be inevitable.

Trump Entertainment claims obtaining concessions from the union is “absolutely critical” in the restructuring process.

NY Post: Carl Icahn might save Trump Taj Mahal under right conditions

Businessman Carl Icahn is ready to save the Trump Taj Mahal from bankruptcy, but only under certain circumstances. The investor said he was willing to invest $100 million in the Atlantic City casino, provided the unions and local authorities are prepared to make some big concessions.

Trump Entertainment Resorts, the owner of the ailing casino, was forced to file for bankruptcy on September 9, but has come up with a restructuring plan that needs Icahn’s money, the union’s cooperation and the collaboration of Atlantic City authorities to succeed. If all plans fail, the closure of the casino will result in the loss of more than 4,000 jobs.

Trump Entertainment Resorts owns two casinos in the gambling Mecca, and both of them have failed. The Trump Plaza was closed recently, and the situation of the Taj Mahal is not too optimistic either. The business is projected to lose $7 million every month, even with just one casino in operation, and that figure doesn’t include debt payments to Icahn or property taxes.

In order to get out of the financial mess, the company wants to stop paying roughly $10,000 a year for each union employee, and to stop pension contributions.

GamingZion: Brookfield is Topping Bidders for the Revel in Atlantic City

It seems like Atlantic City financial problems are the highlight of American news, as casinos shut down one after the other in the former gambling kingdom. The Showboat closed at the beginning of September and the Revel is still hoping to find a way out of the mess it got itself into.

The casino opened its doors to customers just two years ago, and it has already filed for bankruptcy twice. An expensive investment that cost $2.4 billion to build, the venue has never succeeded in becoming a profitable business.

While the gambling business has failed, there might still be hope for the building that housed all those gaming tables and poker rooms. The casino’s owners said they intended to sell it to a customer who would be able to keep the building in use.

An auction held last Wednesday awarded the property to Brookfield Asset Management, after the company trumped Florida real estate developer Glenn Straub’s $90 million bid. The businessman threatened to challenge the outcome of the auction in court.

Crockfords Says Ivey Cheated, but the Poker Pro Wants his GBP7.7 Million

Oct 05, 2014
A British gambling venue is refusing to pay Phil Ivey his GBP7.7 million in winnings

A British gambling venue is refusing to pay Phil Ivey his GBP7.7 million in winnings

A British gambling venue is refusing to pay poker player Phil Ivey his GBP7.7 million in winnings, claiming that he won by cheating.

Although a talented poker player, American gambler Phillip Ivey doesn’t shy away from other casino games either. Like high-stake baccarat, for example. The game brought him almost GBP8 million in winnings in August 2012, when he risked as much as GBP1 million of his own money at a casino in London.

The Crockfords club – the venue where Ivey won the money over his two-day visit – has refused to pay out claiming that the poker player had cheated and duped the croupier, with the help of his companion Cheung Yin Sun.

The American gambler responded by slapping the casino with a lawsuit. While admitting that he had used a technique known as edge sorting, which allows players to predict the order of the cards, Ivey and his lawyers firmly believe that this is nothing but a legitimate strategy that casinos can guard against.

Mirror Online: Casino won’t pay out £7.7MILLION winnings to ‘cheating’ poker star Phillip Ivey

Richard Spearman, who represents the professional poker player, said Ivey should not be held responsible for the casino’s “mistake”.

“The technique of edge sorting involves nothing more than using information that is available to any player by viewing the backs of the cards… and making requests of the casino, which it is open to the casino to accept or refuse, as to the manner in which play is conducted.”

Spearman claims that it was the gambling venue’s mistake that this turned into an advantage for Ivey, while Christopher Pymont, who represents the casino, continued to say the scheme was quite possibly “criminal”.

According to the latest gambling news, the barrister accused the poker player of using his companion to cheat. Cheung Yin Sun allegedly spoke to the dealer in Cantonese to help keep the scheme “covert” from the rest of the staff, who spoke English.

The casino staff examined the CCTV footage, interrogated the staff, and then decided not to send Ivey the money.

Belfast Telegraph: Champion poker player Phil Ivey ‘stitched up’ London casino in £7.7m winning streak, court hears

One of the best poker players in the world, Phil Ivey, was accused of having “stitched up” a reputable London casino by taking advantage of a flaw in playing cards. The poker pro sued the gambling venue, which refused to pay him the GBP7.7 million he had won in two days.

Ivey allegedly created an “air of superstition”. He insisted on wearing a lucky hat, picked a lucky Asian card dealer, and a special pack of cards. While the game of baccarat requires little skill, all this helped him tip the odds in his favor, said the casino management.

Ivey admitted that he turned a minor flaw in the cards to his advantage, but says the casino did not take the proper security measures and went along with all his requests without questioning them. This is why he exploited the casino’s failures.

“Putting it bluntly, he played, he won and they ought to pay up,” said Richard Spearman, his counsel.

Casino staff picked up on Ivey’s unusual behavior after he asked the dealer to turn around some of the cards, “like that made any difference”. But employees figured it was nothing but a superstition. “It did make a difference. They just didn’t realize,” Spearman explained.

The counsel added that Ivey’s winning streak could have been stopped at any moment simply by changing the cards, or increasing the security on the dealer, but the casino failed to take these precautions. The customer “regards this as entirely fair play,” Spearman said, adding: “If a casino fouls up from start to finish that’s the gamblers good fortune.”

On the other hand, Christopher Pymont, counsel for the casino, considers the gambler’s actions to be “highly immoral and dishonest”. “The whole point is to stitch up the casino, to fix it, when you know it’s in ignorance of what you’re doing,” he argued.

The case is expected to last a week.

Daily Mail: Nine-time world poker champion Phil Ivey accused of cheating Atlantic City casino out of $9.6MILLION ‘using defective card trick’

This is not the first time Phil Ivey has taken advantage of defective cards to turn the odds in his favor, at the same table game. A casino in Atlantic City has sued the professional poker player after he won $9.6 million, claiming that he got the money by cheating.

Ivey and an associate allegedly exploited a defect in cards to win the money, on four occasions between April and October 2012. The cards were manufactured by Gemaco Inc., a company from Kansas City, and were defective because they didn’t have a uniform pattern on the back.

According to the lawyers who represent the gambling venue, the technique of edge sorting is forbidden under New Jersey gambling laws. Ivey and his companion allegedly instructed a dealer to flip cards in particular ways, so they could tell whether it was a desirable card or not.

Brookfield Wins Auction and Gets Atlantic City’s Revel Casino

Oct 04, 2014
Revel Casino: $2.4 billion two years ago, $110 million now

Revel Casino: $2.4 billion two years ago, $110 million now

Build at a cost of $2.4 billion two years ago, the Revel Casino was bought by a Canadian company at a price of just $110 million.

About 8,000 Atlantic City casino employees have lost their jobs so far this year, but there’s new hope for them now that the Revel Casino Hotel has a new owner. Toronto-based Brookfield Asset Management has won the auction for the now bankrupt venue, with an offer of $110 million.

After filing for bankruptcy for the second time since it opened in 2012, the Revel finally closed its doors on September 2. The casino had been in business for just two years, and is one of four Atlantic City gambling venues to shut down this year.

According to gambling news, the Trump Taj Mahal may be the fifth one, with owners threatening to close it on November 13.

CBC News: Brookfield submits top bid for closed Atlantic City casino Revel

Brookfield Asset Management, a company based in Toronto, has won the auction for the Revel Casino Hotel located in New Jersey’s Atlantic City, with a bid of $110 million. The casino filed for bankruptcy earlier this year and was looking for a new buyer.

Although the initial deadline was Monday, the auction was extended into its third day on Wednesday. This was when Brookfield was revealed as the company that submitted the winning bid. Having $200 billion in assets under management, the Canadian company owns the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, as well as the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

“Revel is a brand new trophy asset on the beachfront, which we are acquiring at a substantial discount to replacement cost,” company spokesman Andy Willis told the press.

“We’re not currently in a position to discuss the business plan as we continue to explore various options [but] we will be in discussions with all parties and partners involved to formulate a feasible plan that ensures the long term viability of this property as a resort destination.”

Along with Brookfield, several other companies have been trying to get their hands on the casino. The gambling venue cost $2.4 billion to build, so the price Brookfield paid was much lower. Its original bid was at $98 million, but the company sweetened the offer to $98 million in order to secure the deal.

RTT News: WSJ: Brookfield Among Four Bidders Vying For Atlantic City’s Revel Casino

Four bidders competed in an auction to acquire Atlantic City’s Revel casino and hotel, after the business went bankrupt this year.

Canadian company Brookfield Asset Management, who owns the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, was the front runner in the auction, according to an article published in the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday. The company has topped Florida-based real estate developer Glenn Straub’s $90 million bid.

Straub offered to buy Revel casino hotel in a $90 million deal that was supposed to help the casino exit bankruptcy. For some time, he was the lead bidder, but now other takers have stepped up with better solutions. Apart from Brookfield, the casino’s management has received offers from a real estate investor from the Meruelo family, Richard Meruelo, and from a New Jersey real estate developer.

According to Revel’s bankruptcy filing, the casino’s value dropped from $2.4 billion to as low as $450 million. Experts predicted that the business would not be able to get back on its feet until 2017. The Revel was never among the city’s most profitable venues; it has had financial troubles ever since it opened to huge fanfare in April 2012, with a $2.4 billion investment.

By June 2014, the Revel was filing for bankruptcy for the second time, and on September 2 the casino closed because it had received no suitable bids to recover from its financial problems.

Wall Street Journal: Four Bidders Vying for Atlantic City’s Revel Casino

Things are heating up at the auction to sell the now bankrupt Revel Casino in Atlantic City. Newspapers wrote the auction has been shrouded in secrecy from the very beginning, sparking a dispute between the casino and lead bidder Glenn Straub.

“Our topping offer of $95 million will also contain terms giving priority to workers who lost their jobs when Revel shut down,” Straub’s lawyer Craig Galle explained. According to the attorney, the Florida-based developer “is committed to helping employees and their families that were affected by the Revel bankruptcy.”

An affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management has recently entered the bidding, topping the initial $90 million offer. However, if Straub loses the auction, he is entitled to a $3 million breakup fee for serving as the lead bidder.

The real estate developer’s attorneys are claiming Revel has broken an earlier agreement to disclose information about competing bids. “Any degree of confidence in [Revel’s lawyers’] ability to conduct a fair auction is nonexistent,” they told reporters of the Wall Street Journal.

But Revel lawyer John Cunningham has disputed allegations that the auction was conducted in an unfair manner. “This is a baseless objection,” he said. “The allegations of unethical conduct are just absolutely false.”

Another One Bites the Dust: Trump Taj Mahal Left with No Options

Oct 01, 2014
Don Guardian has rejected a proposal to revive the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort

Don Guardian has rejected a proposal to revive the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort

The situation of the Trump Taj Mahal seems hopeless after Atlantic City officials refused to reduce taxes in order to save the casino.

In May 1984, when Trump Plaza opened its doors to customers, it became Atlantic City’s 10th casino. The venue’s financial problems became evident this year, and by the middle of September owners were left with no other option but to close it.

The entire city is dealing with a huge budget deficit and several casinos have gone out of business this year, as the gambling Mecca is falling under the pressure of competition from neighboring states. In order to recover from the financial disaster, workers will be laid off and taxes on homes and businesses will be raised, as local authorities are planning to cut $40 million from the city’s budget over the next four years.

Out of the state’s 12 casinos, four have already closed. The Trump Taj Mahal Casino and Resort would be the fifth one, with Trump Entertainment threatening to shut it down mid-November. So far, all plans to save the venue have failed.

ABC News: AP: Mayor Nixes Tax Break to Save Taj Mahal Casino

According to the latest gambling news, Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian has rejected a proposal to revive the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort. The city cannot afford to meet the owners’ demands for reduced taxes, the mayor explained in an interview with the Associated Press.

In the proposal, the venue’s owners asked local authorities to reduce the tax assessments of Trump Plaza from $248 million to $40 million. The hotel and casino complex closed at the middle of September. In addition, the company asked for another reduction – from $1 billion to $300 million – for the Taj Mahal.

“Given the difficult economic situation in Atlantic City, we are not in a position to accept these requests,” Mayor Don Guardian told reporters. “We cannot afford those demands.”

With these plans being rejected, the city will most likely say “no” to another offer proposed by billionaire businessman Carl Icahn, leaving the struggling venue with no other options. The entrepreneur has promised to bail the casino out with a $100 million investment, but the project comes with strings attached.

Now it looks like Trump Entertainment could close the Taj Mahal at the middle of November.

CTV News: Billionaire may invest $100M save Trump’s Taj Mahal Casino

Billionaire businessman Carl Icahn is considering spending $100 million to save the now-bankrupt Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, but his offer comes with considerable strings attached. The investor said he will bail the venue out “if and only if” he gets givebacks from the workers’ union, $25 million in funds from an agency in New Jersey, and tax breaks regardless of the state’s current taxation and gambling laws.

At a recent appearance in bankruptcy court, Trump Entertainment Resorts presented a letter from the businessman’s lawyer, detailing his conditions for saving the casino and asking that the debt he owns in it be converted to equity that would give him ownership.

“Notwithstanding the fact that putting more money into the Taj is a questionable business decision, we share the company’s desire to see the Taj Mahal remain open and preserve the jobs of the company’s employees,” the attorney wrote, adding that failing to get the concessions “would make it impossible to operate a viable company at this time.”

The court filing paints a dismal picture of the casino’s current financial situation and argues there is no hope for survival without Icahn’s investment. Trump Entertainment said it was going to close the venue in November, leaving 2,041 full-time and 825 part-time employees without work.

Union president Bob McDevitt warned that the businessman is “seeking to take advantage of the Atlantic City crisis to do away with the health care thousands of south Jersey casino workers and their families have fought for and relied upon for over 30 years,” and added that his proposal aims to cut total compensation for workers.

Wall Street Journal: Trump Eyes Possible Return to Atlantic City

Billionaire Donald Trump is considering buying back two casinos in Atlantic City, both of them bearing his name, but still wants his name removed from the properties. The businessman hasn’t been involved in the management of either the Trump Taj Mahal, or the Trump Plaza for seven years now. Moreover, he told the Wall Street Journal that he disagrees with the way the venues are being run.

“We have a very high standard” in the licensing contract, he told reporters, “and they don’t operate it to our standards.”

“I’d fix them and bring them back to a very high standard,” Trump said. While acknowledging that Atlantic is in a “very difficult place”, he added: “I think a smaller Atlantic City maybe has a chance.”

Trump’s lawyers argued in court that the licensing contract requires operators to maintain “the highest levels of quality, luxury, prestige, and success,” which the plaintiff believes were not met. Inspectors of Trump AC have found a “serious deficiency in quality” and demanded that they be fixed. The casinos responded, claiming they had a plan to address the “deplorable conditions” at the Plaza, but further notices culminated in a lawsuit where Trump asked for his name to be removed from the business.

The casinos were originally developed by Trump and have come close to bankruptcy before. The real-estate mogul is no longer involved in the management of these casinos, but still owns 5% of Trump Entertainment.

Owner of Tasmanian Art Museum Plans to Open a Casino

Sep 29, 2014
David Walsh, the owner of the Museum of Old and New Art in Tasmania

David Walsh, the owner of the Museum of Old and New Art in Tasmania

David Walsh, who owns the Museum of Old and New Art in Tasmania, has asked for permission to open a casino.

The Tasmanian Government it now seeking advice on whether to allow the millionaire to open a gambling venue targeted at high-roller tourists. The founder of the museum is planning to build a hotel in northern Hobart, at the Berriedale site, and has recently proposed to add a small casino to the hotel.

At present, the Federal Group has monopoly on operating gambling venues in Tasmania. The company has an arrangement with the local government, giving it exclusive rights to operate casinos here for a period of 20 years. The contract is due to expire in 2018.

According to local gambling news, Walsh’s proposal is for a pokie-free gambling venue for high-rollers, with a maximum of 12 gaming tables.

The Guardian: David Walsh plans mini casino for Tasmania’s Mona

Walsh made a fortune playing card games and now he hopes to offer tourists a small gambling facility that offers his type of entertainment: high-stakes casino games. The millionaire has begun to discuss his project with stakeholders.

“I would be very happy indeed to have a little high-roller, tourist-only, no-pokie casino to be part of the Mona package,” Walsh told reporters at the Mercury newspaper.

The casino would be called Monaco and it would have no more than 12 gambling tables for wealthy international art lovers to enjoy. The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) opened in 2011 and has built a global reputation since, helping the Tasmanian tourism sector grow. Walsh thinks visitors would get a kick out of playing blackjack in highbrow surroundings.

A casino would certainly boost the museum’s profits, but for now the Federal Group has an exclusive license to operate the state’s two gambling venues. While Walsh does not believe his business would have a negative impact on the current casino operations, he still needs government approval to implement his project.

ABC News: MONA casino plan: Tasmanian Government seeks advice on proposal for high-roller tourists

The State Government received a proposal for a high-roller, no-pokie gambling venue and is now seeking advice on whether to allow it or not. Giving Walsh the green light would break the Federal Group’s 20-year monopoly on operating casinos in Tasmania, so it’s not an easy decision. On the other hand, the company’s exclusive arrangement expires in 2018.

Mayor Stuart Slade said he was surprised by the idea, but welcomed the absence of poker machines.Federal authorities have refused to comment on the casino issue, for now.

“We do have a number of poker machines in the City of Glenorchy, and of course that would just add further to that,” Slade said. “It’s my understanding… this is for a select group of people who wish to participate in a form of gambling and pokies wouldn’t be a part of that,” he explained.

David Walsh’s museum has brought thousands of tourists to Tasmania and has helped boost the local economy. The owner of the venue has been planning to expand accommodation for a while now, but recently added a small casino to the proposal.

With or without a casino, the hotel will be a huge success, says the Tourism Industry Council’s Luke Martin.

“I think everything MONA does is absolutely cutting edge, it’s innovative, it captures attention. Ultimately what that incorporates, whether that’s a casino or business events space, MONA is within its rights to look at the options and investment,” he said.

“Whether it does incorporate something like a casino, that’s obviously got a regulatory issue and they’re going to have to pursue that with the State Government.”

The Monthly: At Home With David Walsh, The Gambler

Most people didn’t hear the name David Walsh before 2009, when the man made global headlines thanks to a strange and somewhat macabre bet he placed. It was not your usual wager, where players try to guess football sports scores or place their money on a horse; Walsh had instead put money on the life of French artist Christian Boltanski.

The Monthly describes the details of the unusual wager placed by Walsh, this mysterious figure from Tasmania. Even in his home country, people know little about him apart from the rumor that he made his fortune by gambling.

Walsh built the highly successful Museum of Old and New Art in Tasmania, a private art museum dedicated to sex and death. The building resembles a post-apocalyptic fortress and it opened in January 2011, becoming a major attraction for art lovers.

Ben Affleck Digs Up His Gambling Past and Admits to Counting Cards in Las Vegas

Sep 22, 2014
Ben Affleck says wife Jennifer Garner has no plans to leave him over his gambling

Ben Affleck says wife Jennifer Garner has no plans to leave him over his gambling

Just when everyone thought Ben Affleck’s blackjack adventures were long forgotten, the actor admitted to counting cards.

Until recently, the Hollywood movie star refused to comment on rumors that suggested he was addicted to gambling. Now Ben Affleck says he wants to clear things up once and for all, offering to talk about why he was kicked out of Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, how much he gambles and what his wife Jennifer Garner has to say about it.

Yes, he counted cards when he was at the casino, he admitted; but apart from blackjack, he is not interested in betting on sports scores and doesn’t gamble “at all”. All news about him being addicted to casino games were made up, the actor added. He also denied rumors about his wife threatening to leave him because of his habit of playing blackjack.

The actor is now at the center of attention in the latest online blackjack news, after openly talking about how casinos refuse to allow good players to sit down at the blackjack table.

Daily Mail: ‘That’s all bulls***!’ Ben Affleck says wife Jennifer Garner has no plans to leave him over his gambling

Ben Affleck has recently denied what several tabloids and newspapers wrote months ago, that his wife Jennifer Gardner was at the end of her tether after he was kicked out of a Las Vegas casino for counting cards.

In a recent interview with Details magazine, the actor fumed: “See, that’s tabloid s***. That’s all bulls***. They completely lie.”

At the end of April, Ben Affleck was caught counting cards at a Las Vegas blackjack table, and tabloids suggested Jennifer was considering leaving him because he was gambling too much. However, the new Batman has assured fans that his wife is neither unhappy with their marriage of nine years, nor about to divorce him.

ABC News: Ben Affleck Admits to Counting Cards in a Casino

Referring to the incident that took place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas earlier in April, when Ben Affleck was banned from the blackjack table, the 42 year-old actor had no trouble admitting that he counted cards while playing the game.

“That is true,” he told Details magazine. “I took some time to learn the game and became a decent blackjack player. And once I became decent, the casinos asked me not to play blackjack.”

“I mean the fact that being good at the game is against the rules at a casino should tell you something about a casino,” he continued. “There’s a lot of hospitality, backslapping, when they think you’re gonna come in and dump money, and if they think you might leave with some money, it’s like, ‘You know what? Why don’t you try craps or roulette?”

The actor also denied rumors suggesting he was addicted to gambling: “I get to correct the impression that there’s something wrong with it or that it demonstrates some, like, compulsive activity.”

“I don’t bet on football games, and I don’t gamble at all, really, outside of that. But I knew with blackjack that there’s a way you can improve your odds. And so I started trying to learn. And then I just got to a point in my life where I’m like, ‘If I’m going to do something, I’m going to try and do it really well.’”

While counting cards is not illegal, casinos frown upon it because the strategy helps players lower the house edge and significantly increases their chances of winning.

“I will say this: There were a number of casinos that said, ‘Hey, you can’t play blackjack here. We know you count cards. But, you know, you’re welcome to come, do whatever you want, see a show, have dinner. We’ll comp ya. Play roulette, we know you don’t play craps, but hang out, we still want your presence and business.’”

People: Ben Affleck Sets the Record Straight About Gambling Rumors

After it was reported that Ben Affleck was a problem gambler and that his wife Jennifer Garner was considering leaving him because of his bad habit, the Hollywood actor is not holding back in expressing how he feels about tabloids and the rumors they spread.

The movie star is determined to set the record straight about stories claiming that his wife Jennifer Garner was fed up with his gambling, after Affleck was reportedly banned from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

“That’s tabloid s–––. That’s all bulls–––,” he told Details. “They completely lie … My only hope is that people with any common sense recognize that those stories are false.”

The 42-year-old actor clarified that he was not banned from the venue, but simply asked to refrain from playing blackjack, a game he became skilled at.

“I wish I could say they were afraid of me in every capacity. But they only said, ‘No blackjack.’ I mean, the fact that being good at the game is against the rules at the casinos should tell you something about casinos,” he added.

Furthermore, Affleck insisted that blackjack is the only casino game he plays: “I had always liked blackjack. I don’t play any other games of chance. I don’t bet on football games, and I don’t gamble at all, really, outside of that.”

Macau’s Financial Recovery Taking Longer than Analysts Estimated

Sep 03, 2014

Declining Profits for Macau

Although analysts estimated that business would pick up again in Macau, revenue hit a new low in August. Latest gambling news say this was the third consecutive month when the world’s largest gambling hub posted a decline in profits, after China’s anti-graft campaign kept VIP gamblers away. As a consequence, casino shares also dropped. The downward trend began in June, when the city’s casino revenue saw the first decrease. July brought more bad news, and that’s when analysts jumped in to say it was only because of the FIFA World Cup, which had supposedly kept gamblers away from the casino table. Industry experts said profits would most likely increase again in August, but recent figures reveal a new drop in profits.

The 3.7% revenue decrease reported in June was the first drop Macau saw in five years. The former Portuguese colony is the only place in China where gambling laws allow casinos.

Reuters:  Macau gambling revenue declines for third consecutive month

This August, gambling revenue in Macau fell 6.1% on a year-to-year basis. News reports say this was also the third consecutive month when profits declined. Many believe it has something to do with China’s campaign against corruption, which extends to the world’s largest gambling hub and keeps VIP gamblers away.

According to a financial report released by the local government on Monday, total gambling revenue fell to 28.9 billion patacas in August (the equivalent of $3.6 billion) from 30.7 billion patacas in the same month of 2013. Industry analysts were expecting a decline of 2 to 6%.

There are 35 casinos operating in Macau at present. The former Portuguese colony is part of Chinese territory, but it’s still a special administrative region, just like neighboring Hong Kong. Gambling is not allowed on the mainland, but casinos are legal in Macau and the area has developed a lot over the past decade, becoming the world’s largest gambling hub.

During the past two years profits have seen a major increase. Revenue reached a total of $45 billion in 2013, but the latest figures have plummeted to lows last seen in 2009.

Bloomberg:  Macau Casino Revenue Misses Estimates on China Probes

Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau recently announced that August’s total gross gaming revenue has declined 6.1% to 28.9 billion patacas. The percentage is much higher than the median estimate of just 2% promoted by seven analysts surveyed by Bloomberg News.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered authorities to look into corruption and lavish spending in Macau. Officials suspect mainland residents are trying to find ways around the law, in order to spend more money on casino games than they’re allowed to. They are not looking into methods some gamblers use to transfer money from China, which has caused VIPs take their money somewhere else.

Although the number of visitors hasn’t changed much in Macau, Hong Kong-based analyst Philip Tulk said: “China’s anti-corruption campaign seems to be keeping some high-rollers out of Macau, and that’s unlikely to change much in the fourth quarter.”

Meanwhile, this has caused Sands China’s shared to drop 3.2%, while Galaxy Entertainment Group has seen a 2.9% decrease in shares.

Japan Times:  Macau casino dealers take industrial action for first time

While company shares are dropping and high-rollers are looking for other places where they can spend their money, Macau dealers working for one of the most popular casinos in the region have started industrial action against their employers. The protest is a first in Chinese history.

More than 1,000 dealers from SJM Holdings are asking for better salaries and benefits spreads. Some of them have shown up late for their shifts, while others have stopped working overtime.

“SJM has mobilized additional manpower support to handle the situation and promised that today, if workers are willing to go to work, they will guarantee compensation three times the salary,” baccarat dealer Ieong Mang Teng told reporters. Teng is also the head of a labor group called “Forefront of Macau Gaming”.

Despite all of these problems, eight new resorts are expected to be built in Macau over the next three years.

Playtech Makes a Move on the US Market

Dec 21, 2011
Playtech emerging on US Online Gambling market

Playtech announced yesterday that they have formed a joint venture with Scientific Games, a US company that has strategic ties with state lottery operators. Through the new partnership, Playtech will provide online gambling software for use in gaming terminals currently offered by Scientific Games in the UK. The venture places Playtech in a prime position to re-enter the US online gambling market should it open in the future.

Financial Times: Playtech gets ahead of the game

Playtech made a huge step forward in the global lottery market by sealing a deal with Scientific Games, a gaming services provider in the US. The deal gives Scientific Games access to government contracts, and provides a boost to its Videobet machines business.

As US state governments begin to legislate for online gambling, their local lottery operators need online casino, poker, bingo and other online gambling products to remain competitive.

Fortunately for Playtech, Scientific Games supplies lottery systems in 31 US jurisdictions. This gives Playtech a direct route into a market that it was forced to exit back in 2006, when the Bush administration closed the doors to online gambling in the US.

Playtech’s chief executive Mor Weizer said: “This secures our position in the US and provides a great opportunity if and when the US market is regulated.”

After the announcement, Playtech shares jumped 18% to 515p, bringing it back to levels last not seen since August 2008.

Wall Street Journal: Playtech Signs Joint Ventures With Scientific Games

Playtech Ltd., a designer, developer and licensor of software for the online and land-based gambling industry, recently announced the creation of a strategic partnership with New York-based Scientific Games Corp. The partnership will see the companies jointly develop and market next-generation online and land-based gambling products and services to regulated gaming operators in the US and abroad.

MAIN FACTS:

  • The partnership will combine Playtech’s gambling software and portfolio of products with Scientific Games’ ability to provide services to government-sponsored gaming operators in regulated (and soon to be regulated) jurisdictions.
  • An exclusive joint venture called ‘Sciplay’ will focus on the global online gambling market. It will use software Playtech’s technology together with Scientific Games’ global infrastructure and experience.
  • Playtech will develop gambling terminal software for Scientific Games and its subsidiary The Global Draw, including upgrades to of existing terminals in the UK currently using the Videobet platform.

Reuters: Playtech forms joint venture with Scientific Games

Online gambling software provider Playtech just announced the formation of a strategic partnership with US-based lottery operator Scientific Games.

The joint venture is called Scriplay. A statement released yesterday by Playtech Chief Executive Mor Wizer and Scientific Games Chief Exectutive Mike Chambrello described how the venture will combine Playtech’s technological expertise with Scientific Games’ experience and strong relationships with US state lotteries.

The statement further explains that the companies will “jointly develop and market next-generation internet and land-based gaming products and services to regulated gaming operators in the U.S. and other countries”.

“We have highly complementary skill-sets allied with a global reach and this partnership provides the opportunity to leverage off this combined know-how to maximum effect.”

After the announcement, shares in Playtech were trading at 475.5 pence, up 9%, valuing the business at 1.14 billion pounds ($1.86 billion).

$87.5 Million Casino Raid Halted by Judge in the Middle of the Night

Dec 17, 2011
Gambling in Alabama, USA

The controversial issue of casino gambling in Alabama came to a peak when the state’s governor, Bob Riley, ordered a raid on a new $87.5 million casino in the middle of the night and the action was halted in its tracks by a judges blocking order.

LA Times: Judge halts state raid of $87M bingo casino in latest round of Alabama’s fight over gambling

Near 40 Alabama state troopers gathered before sunrise, Wednesday, for a Gov. Bob Riley approved raid. The target: bingo machines at a new, allegedly illegal, $87 million casino near Dothan.

Local officials moved quickly to defend the targeted site, going to a judge’s home after midnight to get an order blocking the raid. The order was given to police before they could seize the 1,700 electronic bingo machines at Country Crossing.

County Commissioner Mark Culver denounced the Governor’s Task Force on Illegal Gambling’s attempt to shut down the bingo and entertainment complex, which created 1,300 jobs in the struggling community.

Bill Eadington, a University of Nevada at Reno gambling expert, said Alabama casino investors relied on questionable laws to build, but casinos are hard to close when restaurants and hotels, that produce lots of jobs, are added.

ABC News: Judge Halts State Raid of Big Alabama Bingo Center

A rural Alabama county hungry for economic development staved off a state raid on a new bingo and entertainment center despite Bob Riley’s wishes to close it. The county won a middle-of-the-night court order barring the raid as agents from the governor’s anti-gambling task force massed near Country Crossing, an $87 million complex near Dothan.

Houston County Commissioner Mark Culver got the order from a judge’s home at 1:30 a.m. delivered it to the Governor’s Task Force on Illegal Gambling assembling for a pre-dawn raid. He was trying to save 1,300 jobs in a county with 8.7 percent unemployment.

The Houston County Commission approved the construction of Country Crossing in 2008 and created a method for it to issue up to $70 million in bonds for construction. Country Crossing sought to stop the raid, claiming it would harm the bond issue that’s supposed to be paid off with bingo revenue.

Alabama gambling centers have been expanding with restaurants and other attractions and portraying themselves as economic development projects providing needed jobs in a recession.

AP News: Midnight order halts Ala. raid of $87M casino

A Gov. Riley approved raid on bingo machines at a new, $87 million casino by himself was stopped before dawn on Wednesday by judge’s order blocking it. Houston County Commissioner Mark Culver secured the judge’s approval and signature.

It was a blow for the governor in Alabama’s odd, ongoing struggle for control over the state’s mushrooming gambling industry. Culver said, “We are going to do everything we can to protect the jobs of the people of Houston County,” in reference to the incident. The governor claims the machines are illegal and simply an attempt to compete with Mississippi’s coastal casinos.

Circuit Judge P.B. McLauchlin agreed that seizing the machines “would do irreparable harm” to the bond transaction and blocked any raid pending a court hearing Jan. 20.

Belgian Gambling Laws to Restrict Online Casino Games

Dec 15, 2011

Belgian Gambling Laws

Belgian Gambling Laws

Gambling legislation is a point of contention all over the world today, specifically the new Belgian gambling laws which restrict online casino games. Many countries are changing their policies on the subject and organization, such as the European Union, are making very influential decisions with regards to all member states.

Despite wishes on behalf of the European Union that its mandates be acknowledged and followed, some countries still insist on going against the grain. A few such countries are France, Poland and most recently Belgium. Speculations indicate that these countries have crossed the line intentionally in order to test Michel Barnier, the new European Commissioner.

Belgium has stirred the subject to the brink of boiling by recently passing a law regulating online gambling that did not address several points of contention with EU rules, as found by the European Commission.

The European Commission gave an official Detailed Opinion to Belgian legislators which pointed out which parts of Belgian gambling laws needed to be amended in order to comply with EU law. Some of the points pointed out by the European Commission include: an unjustified limit on licenses, requirements of servers being located in Belgium, and forbidding citizens to participate in EU licensed and regulated internet gambling in Belgium.

Belgian gambling laws: Sigrid Ligne angry

Secretary General of the European Gaming and Betting Association, Sigrid Ligne, condemned Belgium’s action saying that, “The law is not only highly questionable from a legal point of view, a high level of consumer protection can be achieved by specific and targeted legislation, not by protecting the operators with a vested interest in the current situation.”

On December 3rd, lawmakers passed Belgian gambling laws without taking into considerations concerns that were voiced by the European Commission. In doing so, the Belgian Government has subjected itself to infringement proceedings that may be held by the EC which believes Belgian gambling laws are illegal within the EU framework.

PartyGaming attributes growth to better bonuses, new games, and bigger jackpots

Dec 13, 2011
Party Gaming Online Gambling

PartyGaming reported an unexpected increase in forth-quarter revenues, marking the first time in the last year and a half that they have seen growth. They attributed the growth to several factors, including the introduction of new games in their bingo and casino sections, and to a better loyalty system in their poker site. A strengthening dollar may also have contributed to the increasing success of the site.

Times Online: Online gaming groups say they are on winning streak

Two of the largest online gaming groups in Britain revealed yesterday that players are returning to the tables. PartyGaming just saw better their best quarter since the second quarter of 2008, while Sportingbet saw a similar increase in revenues.

PartyGaming reported growth across all categories, including internet bingo and online casino. KBC Peel Hunt, a stockbroker and advisory house, projected a 24% rise in revenue compared to the fourth quarter of 2008, making this the first rise in the past year and a half.

The site’s poker tables saw the biggest increases. PartyGaming recently revamped site and has been working hard to introduce better loyalty bonuses. PartyGaming’s chief executive Jim Ryan states, “Returning poker to growth has been a key focus for us. We are pleased to see that the initiatives introduced throughout the year are now feeding through into both operational and financial performance with increased player numbers and average net daily revenues.”

Meanwhile, Sportingbet spread a similar statement yesterday, remarking that the strength of their online sportsbook, which provides nearly 70% of their total revenue, has been thriving.

Financial Times: PartyGaming flush with poker revival

Poker revenue at PartyGaming returned to growth during the last quarter of 2009, showing the first increase in the last six quarters.

In a trading update, the internet gambling group revealed that major European-based poker operators have been facing strong competition from dominant US groups Full Tilt and PokerStars, which are using their liquidity in the unregulated US market to increase their strength in the European market.

Morgan Stanley suggets three reasons to explain PartyGaming’s poker recovery: a more regulated European market; a stronger dollar; and the company’s ever-improving loyalty schemes.

PartyGaming did not mention their early-stage merger discussions with Bwin, its Austrian-based online gambling rival. The company did, however, announce a £35m three-year loan, which it intends to use for mergers and acquisitions.

In a similar announcement, Sportingbet stated that it was confident of a “satisfactory outcome” for the next financial year. Sports betting represents almost 70% of group’s revenues and will be the main force behind their growth.

The New York Times: PartyGaming Sees FY Earnings Up on Poker

Online gambling firm PartyGaming announced that fourth-quarter trading was solid, due to a return to growth in their online poker operations. The company things full-year earnings may beat their own expectations.

PartyGaming’s revenue is in line with forecasts, though clean earnings )before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) are expected to be slightly ahead of projections.

PartyGaming said that both its online casino and internet bingo businesses were both performing well due to the introduction of new games, higher jackpot payouts, and their Cashcade acquisition back in July. In their sports betting operations, the company also benefited from a good run of results.

Analysts expect that PartyGaming will report EBITDA of about USD 132 million (GBP 81.4 million) for the fiscal year 2009, according to a Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S poll of eight brokers.

British media on Sunday revealed that PartyGaming is in discussions with Austria’s bwin Interactive Entertainment AG, but bwin downplayed the report, saying it was not in any advanced talks. PartyGaming did not comment on market speculation.

Brand-new CasinoNetbook.com helps netbook users gamble wisely

Dec 12, 2011
netbookcomputer

A website has just been launched that aims to help users of netbook computers make the most out of online casinos, because not all casinos are created equal, and not all work well with netbook devices.

Since the advent of the netbook computers a few years ago, “web apps” have been popping up all across the internet. Web apps are programs that run entirely online – users do not have to download or install anything in order to use them. In fact, most programs that users would normally install on their home PCs now have online web app equivalents.

The world of online gambling is no exception. “No download” casino games are becoming more and more prevalent. These games use Flash technology to stream content across the internet, allowing players to enjoy real money casino games inside their web browser from any computer with an internet connection. These no download casinos are perfect for netbook users since there is nothing to install.

Now there is a website dedicated to helping people find the best online casinos to use with their netbooks. CasinoNetbook just launched, but already it offers more than 130 pages of content related to gambling on the internet using netbook computers. A simple sidebar navigation system leads readers through each section.

Essential information about netbook computers is provided, along with netbook reviews and and some recommendations about machines that are particularly well-suited to use with online gambling sites. The relationship between netbooks and online gambling is discussed.

The bulk of the site consist of lists and tables providing links to hundreds of no download casino games, including an entire section dedicated to games that can be played for free, using unlimited casino credits. This is presented alongside information about dozens of online casinos that offer netbook-compatible services, including casino deposit bonuses, online slots and blackjack tournaments, and more.

A blog has also been established on CasinoNetbook. The editors write a new post each day describing their experiences using specific online casino games and casino sites on their own netbook computers. This section gives readers access to first-hand accounts of what they can expect when using the various services that the site recommends.

Online Casino Pro Cryptologic Signs With BetClic SportsBook

Dec 11, 2011
Wonder Woman CryptoLogic

Online casino pro Cryptologic has agreed to license at least five of their casino games to BetClic.

The agreement will be beneficial to both parties, and Cryptologic will earn revenues based on wagers placed on the games. Following the announcement, the online casino pro shares jumped considerably.

Online Casino Pro Cryptologic Innovative Betting Games

CryptoLogic Limited, an international developer of online casino games and software, just signed a multi-year agreement to license five or more of its best casino games to BetClic, a major European internet sportsbook.

This agreement covers a few of online casino pro CryptoLogic’s best online slot games, which will soon be featured on BetClic’s Games website. The games will be integrated with the help of Gaming Technology Solutions plc, CryptoLogic’s technology platform provider.

President and CEO of CryptoLogic Brian Hadfield said, “The popularity and demand for our industry-leading games remains strong as evidenced by this latest agreement with BetClic, a fast growing European operator. As each new licensee launches our games, we add a new and recurring revenue stream to our business while providing enhanced value and user experience for our partners’ customers.”

Nicolas Beraud, CEO of BetClic, announced, “We are excited about the prospect of adding quality branded content to our current portfolio. CryptoLogic games are instantly recognisable and are developed to the highest industry standards. This partnership further enhances our commitment to offering the best gaming experience to our diverse customer base.”

Online casino pro Cryptologic on sports betting

Cryptologic, a Dublin-based company specializing in online gaming software, is about to sign a deal with Betclic, global online sportsbook operator, and will soon be launching a series of new games in partnership with DC Comics and Paramount Digital Entertainment.

They expected to announce this week that the Malta-based online sports betting company Betclic will soon offer Cryptologic games on the casino portion of their website.

Betclic is primarily focused on sports betting, especially football. The group has businesses in 15 countries and caters to around 1.5 million customers. Betclic is working to develop its casino and poker casino offerings, which have become a standard part of online gambling sites.

Cryptologic has partnerships with DC Comics and Paramount Digital Entertainment (a parent company of Paramount Pictures), and develops games using characters owned by these groups, including Superman and Braveheart.

TechMARK movers: CryptoLogic signs BetClic deal

Shares in online gambling software and games developer CryptoLogic soared after an announcement that they have signed a licensing deal with BetClic, a major European online sportsbook. Betclic will license at least five games from CryptoLogic. This deal will provide recurring revenues for online casino pro CryptoLogic because income is to be based on all wagers placed on the games.

CryptoLogic reported a significant decline in revenues from $50.2m to $29.9m in the nine months prior to September 2009. The loss more than doubled, jumping from $6.48m to $13.5m. The decline was blamed on licensees acting too slowly in launching new games.

CryptoLogic shares are traded on the TSX, Main Market, and Nasdaq. The current online casino pro is half what it was in the middle of September.

Blackjack High Roller Wins 2 Million From Tropicana Casino

Nov 22, 2011

blackjack high roller wins 2 million

Blackjack High Roller

While regular mortals either play free online blackjack or low limits at various online casinos, some play for millions.

Tropicana Casino, which prides itself on taming high rollers, and making them crawl home defeated and demoralized, took a drubbing at the hands of the blackjack master.

In April of this year Don Johnson, a famous blackjack high roller, beat various Atlantic City casinos for more than $15 million playing ultra-high limit blackjack card games. He return again in October for a second helping, deciding to visit Tropicana Casino, which fell victim to his elite black jack mastery of the card table in April to a tune of $5.5 million.

Tropicana Casino, which was hemorrhaging from the blackjack high roller’s advanced card counting prowess, had recovered a bit and its owner even sent out a challenge for Johnson to return.

‘The Beast of Blackjack’ or ‘The Atlantic City Assassin’, the nicknames that the world press has christened Don Johnson with, speak volumes of the pure fear that every casino pit boss feels in the pit of their stomach when the mighty blackjack master walks onto the casino floor.

The $5.5 million dollars that Johnson won at the Tropicana in a single day exploded his face and name on television and newspapers throughout the world. In essence making him as much of a star as his namesake, Don Johnson, the actor from Miami Vice episodes of the 1980s.

Return to Tropicana

In October, Johnson the blackjack high roller was back for more and nothing was going to hold him back from unleashing the power of the ancient gods of blackjack upon Tropicana.

He paid a visit yet again to the Tropicana Casino, located in New Jersey, and took $2 million in a death defying two day gambling spree at the blackjack tables. The blackjack high roller’s win was confirmed when Tropicana CEO, Mr. Tony Rodio, admitted that the casino was the victim of the Atlantic City assassin’s fury.

“I went back in and did very well,” the normally press shy Don Johnson stated to reporters. Not bad for two days work.

Nov 06, 2011
stockwell estates progressive slot winnerNovember just started and already one online casino video slot – Diamond Bonanza online slot – which is on fire and has been hitting multiple daily jackpots at the always popular JackpotJoy Casino and Bingo.

Just today, Miss Joan D. made a down payment on a periwinkle blue caravan that she has been dreaming about since reform school after winning £7,030 playing the Diamond Bonanza on her 11th spin.

“Eleven was always a lucky number. Got knocked up at 11, and now I pregnant with me 11th child,” explained the soon to be owner of the finest second hand caravan in Hackney.

Diamond Bonanza, a 5 reel progressive beast, is easier to use than a pre-teen groomed by Mohamed and paid off enough jackpots to sustain11 third world refugees on the dole.

Online Casino Winner Hits £2,642,668 at Top Internet Casino

Jun 23, 2011
online casino winner progressive jackpot

David Robson, a 36 year old self-described professional remote control flipper and couch potato from Newcastle England had a tough life but not anymore after becoming an online casino winner.

Unable to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a Rock Star, David floated through life with a happy-go-lucky attitude.

During the past two years he has become semi-disabled due to an addiction to sweets and doubled his weight.

At 36, David found himself living at his parent’s council house along with his young daughter Jamaica. Then one night while playing a progressive online slot with a 90 pence bet, his former life of misery floated away as he hit the jackpot and became an online casino winner.

The colossal £2,642,668 ($4,326,547) jackpot transformed him into an online casino winner and is more than enough to bring hope back into David’ life and begin looking forward to a brighter future .

Online casino winner happy as ever

David Robinson, the big online casino winner, at first thought the computer crashed when the huge blue screen popped up flashing the huge winning sum. He started screaming for his father, who just returned with a fresh bag of purple tins, to come in and take a look.

David explains: “I started shouting for my dad because I wanted someone to verify what I had seen on the screen. My mam was a bit concerned because she thought the (police officers) were at it again and something was wrong but I told her it might be something good.”

As is often the case in such instances of incredible fortune, the lucky winner usually needs to be reassured several times before they accept that the cash is theirs.

David only believed his luck when the next morning he received a call and saw the online bank account bursting with crisp money.

“I have always fancied a house with a games room, a snooker table and a computer system and to think that is a possibility now is absolutely fabulous,” mused the millionaire online casino winner.

“I have always fancied a house with a games room, a snooker table and a computer system and to think that is a possibility now is absolutely fabulous,” mused the millionaire online casino winner.

lucky winner all slots casino

Tony H., a mobile gambler from Manchester UK, would always remember yesterday as his lucky day.

Yet he firmly believes that without his lucky Android mobile handset he would never have hit the Progressive mobile Slot Jackpot at All Slots Mobile Casino

Congratulations to Tony H., along with the rest of the winners who’ve used Casino Mobile Finder and Casino Mobile Games Finder to become a big winner.

These free tools allowed Tony the mobile gambler to perfectly correlate the brand of their particular mobile device with a reputable mobile casino where the device is accepted.

Mobile gambler hits it big on Mega Moolah

Tony read the All Slots Mobile Casino review, and saw that the mobile casino has a library of 19 downloadable games for the award winning Android Mobile OS and 10 iPhone web games with a number of supe-sized progressive jackpots on the amazing Spin 3 mobile casino gambling platform.

Tony became a mobile gambler when he registered with All Slots Mobile Casino which belongs to the highly reputable Jackpot Factory Group of gaming properties.

Tony, who became a mobile gambler on his Android device not too long ago, was shocked and surprised since he won the progressive while drinking a couple of cold ones with his buddies at his favorite pub.

Tony went to the pub not more than three weeks after registering with All Slots Mobile Casino. The mobile gambler was showing off his new toy to his friends, he was playing the Mega Moolah mobile slot. On the second spin, he hit the correct symbols and there it was, the Jackpot Wheel, where it’s possible to win the top prize at the Mega level starting at £1,000,000.

Tony, the mobile gambler swallowed a mouth full of cold refreshing ale, and let her rip. The wheel stoped on the Major Progressive Level giving him the mobile jackpot of £18,187.37!

Congratulations again Tony!
